About Us

Dr. Naz Bastani moved to Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California where she received her degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2012. Dr. Naz was on the Dean’s list for 4 consecutive years and finished within the top 5% of her class. Dr. Naz Bastani moved to Vancouver in 1995 with her family and grew up on the North Shore. She attended the University of British Columbia where she received her Bachelors in Science.

Dr. Naz is a part-time clinical instructor at UBC Faculty of Dentistry. She is also an active member of the Canadian Dental Association and the British Columbia Dental Association.

When not doing dentistry, Dr. Naz enjoys an active life in the outdoors of beautiful British Columbia through hiking and running. She is also currently mastering her skill in cooking cuisines from different cultures.

Dr. Naddaf was born to be a dentist. When asked as a child what he would like to be when he grows up, a dentist was his first and only answer. Dr. Naddaf brings over 11 years of experience as a dentist. After graduating from University of Toronto, he worked in Port Hope, Ontario for several years prior to making the move to the beautiful British Columbia along with his wife and young daughter.

He takes pride in being able to provide all aspect of dental care, from an infant’s first visit to complete cosmetic make overs, root canals, implants, and surgeries. Continuing education programs and clinical updates are a priority for Dr. Naddaf. Making people comfortable is his passion. Dr. Naddaf is an avid soccer player, adding golf to the days with better weather.

Dr. Pouran Rostamian General Dentist and certified Periodontist in her native country and passed the National Board Exam in 1999, with over 30 years of experience in periodontics and oral surgery, including oral cosmetic surgery, lip repositioning, and root coverage.

Born in England, Dr. James Tait immigrated to Canada in 2000 and grew up in the Tri Cities. In 2022, he graduated from the University of British Columbia, where he studied for nine years. He received three degrees from the university: a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry (BSc), a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BA), and a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).

Dr. Tait is a member of the British Columbia Dental Association (BCDA) and a supporter of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, among other charities.

What he enjoys most about dentistry is chasing mastery in its workmanship, restoring patients’ confidence when they believe they need a smile makeover, and relieving patients of any pain or discomfort.

In addition to expanding his knowledge of dentistry, he enjoys exploring the outdoors, boxing, cooking, and performing as a DJ.

After immigrating to Canada, she passed the National Dental Examining Board exam and worked as an associate dentist before opening her own practice in 1999. Over 25 years, she built a successful clinic focused on comprehensive, patient-centered care. She recently sold her practice to relocate to Vancouver and be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. Throughout her career, Dr. Madej has remained consistently committed to continuing education.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys playing the violin, travelling, and painting, most recently exploring miniature art.

Dr. Hashemi completed four years of advanced training in prosthodontics in Iran and further expanded his expertise with a Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). His clinical interests include restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, and comprehensive smile rehabilitation.

Known for his gentle approach and dedication to patient comfort, Dr. Hashemi finds the greatest fulfillment in creating beautiful smiles and improving patients’ confidence and quality of life.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Hashemi enjoys spending time with his family and staying active. A former professional soccer player, he values teamwork, discipline, and kindness — qualities that guide both his personal life and professional practice.
